Structural features
The wear-resistant steel plate is composed of a low-carbon steel plate and an alloy wear-resistant layer. The alloy wear-resistant layer is generally 1/3~1/2 of the total thickness. When working, the matrix provides comprehensive properties such as strength, toughness and plasticity against external forces, and the alloy wear-resistant layer provides wear-resistant properties that meet the needs of working conditions.
 
There is a metallurgical bond between the wear-resistant steel plate alloy wear-resistant layer and the substrate. Through special equipment and automatic welding process, the high-hardness self-protected alloy welding wire is uniformly welded on the substrate, and the number of composite layers is one to two or even multiple layers. During the composite process, due to the different shrinkage ratio of the alloy, uniform transverse cracks appear. It is a distinctive feature of wear-resistant steel plate.
 
 The alloy wear-resistant layer is mainly composed of chromium alloy, and other alloy components such as manganese, molybdenum, niobium, and nickel are also added. The carbides in the metallographic structure are distributed in fibers, and the fiber direction is perpendicular to the surface. Alloy carbide has strong stability at high temperature, maintains high hardness, and also has good oxidation resistance. It can be used normally within 500°C. Wear-resistant steel plates are mainly divided into general-purpose, impact-resistant and There are three types of high temperature resistant type, which can roll wear-resistant pipes with a minimum diameter of DN200, and can be processed into wear-resistant elbows, wear-resistant tees, and wear-resistant reducing pipes.
Performance
Excellent wear resistance: The chemical composition of the alloy wear-resistant layer has a carbon content of 3 to 5%, a chromium content of 25 to 40%, and the volume fraction of Cr7C3 carbides in its metallographic structure reaches more than 50%. ~62, because the carbides are distributed perpendicular to the wear direction, even compared with the cast alloy of the same composition and hardness, the wear resistance is more than doubled.

Good impact resistance: The base plate of wear-resistant composite steel plate is low carbon steel or low alloy. It can withstand impact and wear such as high drop hoppers in material conveying systems.

Good heat resistance and corrosion resistance: The alloy layer of the wear-resistant composite steel plate contains a high percentage of metallic chromium, so it has certain rust and corrosion resistance. It can be used to prevent coal from sticking to coal drop drums and funnels.

Complete varieties and specifications: wear-resistant steel plates are complete in specifications and varieties. The thickness of the wear-resistant alloy layer is 3 to 20 mm. The minimum thickness of the composite steel plate is 6mm, and the thickness is not limited. Processing methods
The steel plate cutting method is suitable for cold cutting and hot cutting. Cold cutting includes water jet cutting, shearing, sawing or abrasive cutting; thermal cutting includes oxy-fuel flame cutting (hereinafter referred to as "flame cutting"), isoparticle cutting and laser cutting. The flame cutting method of high-grade wear-resistant steel plate is as simple as the cutting of ordinary low-carbon and low-alloy steel. When cutting thick wear-resistant steel plate, as the thickness and hardness of the steel plate increase, the tendency of cracks on the cutting edge increases. In order to prevent the occurrence of steel plate cutting cracks, preheat cutting, low-speed cutting, etc. should be followed when cutting.
Common HARDOX steel plates and their uses
 HARDOX 400 and HARDOX 450 are multipurpose wear plates. Due to its high toughness, good bending and welding properties, it can also be used for load-bearing purposes in some applications. The typical hardness of HARDOX 400 steel plate is 400HBW. Has excellent weldability, impact strength and bending properties. The typical hardness of HARDOX 450 steel plate is 450HBW wear-resistant steel plate. Its best properties are high hardness and toughness at the same time, and despite its high hardness, it is as easy to process as HARDOX 400. 
Application:
HARDOX 400 imported Swedish wear-resistant steel plate can be used to manufacture buckets, loaders, dump trucks, crushers, powder separators, chutes and various wear-resistant liners. 
HARDOX 450 use: dump truck body, vibrating screen, feed hopper, bucket, cutter plate, bucket, scraper conveyor, gear and so on.

 HARDOX 500 is a bendable and welded wear plate for applications where higher wear performance is required. The typical hardness of HARDOX 500 steel plate is 500 HBW, which can withstand severe wear. It is ideal for working in highly abrasive environments such as high-strength ores and corrosive materials.

 HARDOX 550 is a wear-resistant steel plate with an average hardness of 550HBW, which has the same toughness as HARDOX 500 and is used in high-wear applications. When upgrading from HARDOX 500 steel plate to this product, there is a 50-unit improvement in Brinell hardness, extending wear life without loss of plate toughness.

 HARDOX 600 is the hardest wear-resistant steel plate in the world with a hardness value of 600 HBW. It is generally used in extremely severe wear applications and is mainly used to replace cast steel, chrome alloy cast iron and case hardened metals. Despite its high hardness, we were able to machine, weld and cut it. Although the hardness of HARDOX 600 is very high, it still has a very high impact toughness.

 HARDOX HiTuf is an extremely tough wear-resistant steel plate with excellent crack resistance. HARDOX HiTuf has an average hardness of 350 HBW and is mainly used in critical components requiring extremely high wear and crack resistance.
